The Swizzlestick!
10.27.2004, 7:35 amhooray for boobies!

since i spent the majority of today (er... yesterday) tweaking the back-end of this site, i figured i might as well post something to commemorate the event. i'm sure someone noticed the new design that went up a few days ago. what y'all probably didn't notice is that i've been changing it here and there ever since, but if my genius goes unnoticed one more time, it's nothing i'm not used to.

probably the most useful new thing (for me) is the ability to link to a specific post, for example here's [the math post]. i've also reworked the [picture gallery] completely; it now has thumbnails rather than text descriptions of the pictures. that's something i've been meaning to do for... well, for ever. the [about me] page and the [links] page have both been updated and appendded. yeah, today was a productive day, if you count this stuff as being productive.

the site is also fully validated as html 4.01 transitional and css 1.2. god knows how long that will last, but it is, for now.

i ordered the new [Die Warzau] cd, Convenience, on sunday, it was shipped early monday afternoon, and i'm hoping beyond hope that it will arrive in my mailbox at about noon today. i'm very excited, as if i were a schoolboy in a candy shoppe.

reports have been made, by erin, that she sometimes needs to use a dictionary when talking to me. i don't know whether to be proud of this or embarassed by it. i think my inner snob is duelling with my inner thug as i type this.

i'm also not sure if i can count on my fingers and toes the number of hours since i slept last, but i suspect that i would be unable to if i tried.

10.22.2004, 1:19 amfacial hair

my project for this week was to grow the hair on my face out, so i could see what it looked like. tonight was the culmination of the project, since it was too friggin itchy to continue otherwise. so i shaved it in a few different formations, and now i shall share them with the three people who look at my site. (:

[this is what i looked like before shaving. scruffy, no?]
[here's a pic of me putting on shaving cream, thanks to molly]
[this was with the underside and cheeks shaved]
[here's a goatee with a stash]
[and here it is without the stash]
[here's what i can only think of as hair you'd see on a stripper's crotch]
[back to normal, and my skin thanks me]

so there you have it. i think the goatee, sans stash, might work, if i got a haircut. so maybe i'll get a haircut and try it. i'll look like shaggy, from scooby-doo. hehe...

and, for the kids, [here's] a pic of me looking like [johnny evil guy] from [VGCats].

well, that's all! good night folks!

10.16.2004, 1:23 ami'm goin' to hell! who's comin' with me? :)

i found a test that tells you what circle of hell you're going to. what follows are the results that i got the first time i took it. note that i am a lustful, violent heretic, with some wrathful and malicious tendencies... i'd say that's about right.

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:

Level Score
Purgatory (Repenting Believers) Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers) Low
Level 2 (Lustful) Very High
Level 3 (Gluttonous) Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious) Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy) High
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics) Extreme
Level 7 (Violent) Very High
Level 8 - the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers) High
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous) Moderate

Take the Dante's Inferno Test

10.01.2004, 12:15 pmi'm a barbie girl, in a barbie world! *suicide*

this morning, my alarm went off at 9:20, as it usually does. since i don't have class till 2:00 on fridays, i whacked the snooze button. ten minutes later, it came on again, like it should. this process was repeated about five times before i actually got up. this isn't really abnormal for me on days that i have nowhere to go.

however, there was something abnormal going on. something so abnormal that i shudder just thinking about it. the last four times i whacked the snooze button, Barbie Girl, by Aqua, was on. i didn't realise this was strange until i actually got up and thought about it... but this radio station must have had the song looping or something. or they just played it once every 10 minutes, and i happened to have "good" timing. or they have a 45-minute mix of that song. any of those possibilites makes me want to die, just a little bit.

this was an exceedingly bad way to start the month for me.

also, i hate every single rochester radio station that my alarm clock will recieve. refer to my rant about paula abdul. that was a different station.

i have a test in the class i have at 2, and while i feel like i'm prepared for it, i get the feeling that it's just one of those clases that you think you know, only to later realise that you were very, very wrong. pray for me, will you?
