The Swizzlestick!
07.30.2006, 3:14 amGah...

Yeah, okay, so maybe that last post was a little heavy-handed. Sorry about that. I should be used to it by now. Bad me. Bad.

I honestly don't have much to say here, since there is absolutely nothing going on (another thing that I should be used to by now). On the horizon looms a trip to Columbus to help Craig move and to hang out with Elli. It will be my first time. I guess that makes me an Elli-virgin for the time being... but only for a week or so!

Erin has left me to go to college in California. Jerk.

My dog died and my ex took my truck.

Hey, wait, I went in a cave the other day. I guess things aren't as boring as I thought. It was a guided tour, so it wasn't all that exciting, but it was nifty to walk through. The tour guide was not serious at all, which is a nice change from how things like this usally go. I was at the end of the (rather large) group with my uncle, mum, and brother, and we kept getting the lights turned off on us. Caves are dark.

Also, it was a lovely 51 degrees in there (until we got close to the waterfall, anyway). It gets as cold as 49 in the winter. I could get used to that. Maybe I should start looking for a 100-feet-underground cave in which to live. The more I think about these things, the more I feel like I'm going to end up being a crazy old man living in the wilderness (because if it's not a cave, it will be a shack in the woods). I guess people won't mind as long as I don't mail bombs to them.

07.25,1006, 12:14 amI like the dictionary more than I like you

misanthrope noun: One who hates or mistrusts humankind.
cynic noun: A person who believes all people are motivated by selfishness.

For anyone who's wondering in the slightest where the hell I've been for the past while, there are a couple words to ponder. The former more than the latter.
